About Us
Dolce Vita is owned by Sally Hudson and Stephen Kowalewicz. Sally is a highly skilled cake design specialist, with a wealth of professional training and experience.
Talent & Training
Sally studied at one of the UK’s top food colleges and worked extensively in London. Her professional training includes sugarcraft skills and chocolate work. She has also taught cake decorating at universities and colleges in London.
Honing Skills
Sally honed her cake decorating skills whilst training under a master baker. She then worked for a top continental patisserie in Knightsbridge, supplying cakes and pastries to world famous London department stores. Sally was also involved in designing celebration cakes for celebrities and royalty. She later moved into new product development for a major international patisserie business.
A Dream Come True
In 2000, Sally and partner Stephen launched The Bakery in Norton, near Malton, North Yorkshire. Dolce Vita Cake Design and Patisserie was launched in 2007. It marks the culmination Sally’s ambition to showcase her talents and promote her cake design business.
